ABOUT US
Three people, one belief:
Good decisions need real evidence.
RGLR Collective is a research and community engagement firm founded in 2017 by three people who've spent their careers finding out what's actually true before acting on it.

Where This Started
Daniel, Maryanne, and Beau worked together on an innovation team inside LegalZoom, tasked with building a brand new product from scratch: research first, design second, then a real product used by thousands of small businesses. That project became Equip, and it convinced all three of them that the same approach, starting with the people a decision actually affects, could work for almost anyone facing a hard call. RGLR Collective is what came out of that conviction.
Meet RGLR

Maryanne Lee
Research & Design Parnter
Maryanne got her start co-building HP's Global IT User Experience Center of Excellence during its corporate split into HPE. She went on to build LegalZoom's first Experience Strategy function from the ground up, scaling research practices across four business segments and helping shape the original small business offering that became Equip. She later led GenAI research at Indeed, and is now Managing Director at Austin Center for Design, preparing the next generation of researchers and designers.

Daniel Ruszkiewicz
Strategy & Marketing Partner
Daniel's background spans agency work on Hilton, Mattress Firm, and Waste Management, and customer experience and go-to-market work on the Equip project at LegalZoom. He later served as International Director of Marketing at Dickey's Barbecue Pit, standardizing brand and sales strategy across international markets from Japan to Brazil and reporting directly to the CEO. Before founding RGLR, his throughline was the same wherever he worked: turning ambiguity into a strategy teams could actually execute.

Beau Romero
Product Partner
Beau spent seven years at LegalZoom in product, eventually leading the company's flagship business formation products to $130M in annual revenue. Before that, he worked in product and technology roles at HP and HPE, including a transformation initiative run alongside McKinsey and PwC. He's also core faculty at Austin Center for Design, teaching product strategy to the school's next generation of practitioners.
Austin Center for Design
Maryanne & Beau don't just practice this work, they teach it. At Austin Center for Design, a school built around social impact, Maryanne leads as Director and Beau is core faculty, training the next generation of researchers and designers. That connection gives RGLR a deeper bench of trained talent when a project needs more than three people, and it's a big part of why we've moved into public sector work: through AC4D, we see the real effects of local decisions on our own community every day.
